From 1-abc:Windows XP offers great opportunities to be customized. Unfortunately, most of these features are not available through the control panel and can only be configured by modifying the Windows Registry. 1-abc.net Settings Organizer offers many of these options in a small and easy to use program including very understandable explanations to each single option so that even beginners can configure their system to let it behave the way they want.

This collection of operating system tweaks is useful, reliable, practical, and should be kept away from novice users. While many of the tweaks gets minor explanations, the publishers of 1-abc.net obviously expect tweaks will be applied by users who have an advanced knowledge of their computer's operating system.
The interface itself couldn't be more novice-friendly, with all settings arranged into simple lists and drop-down boxes. Tweaking is as easy as marking radio buttons and filling up appropriate text and numeric values. The program arranges the tweaks with at least some thought to the users, with Beginners, Advanced, Windows Tools, and file and path selections. All the old standby tweaks are present. Disabling windows animation makes minimizing and maximizing windows faster. Unloading DLLs from RAM reduces memory usage. Reducing the Start menu delay greatly speeds opening the list. The program's best feature is the rollback function. Make a change that you don't like, and you can restore the system back to the previous state.
The demo period is a mere 10 days, though you can register for a free key to extend the trial. Advanced users should give this collection of tweaks a try. Novices should only consult trained professionals.
