Version: Accounts and Budget Free 5.0.4
"Corrupted my oleaut32.dll file and now I can't access internet or any files."
Cons: Downloaded this software. I'm running windows 98 SE. Now when I start up my computer I get an error message telling me that somethings wrong with the OLEAUT32.DLL file and to find out what's wrong with it. I have changed the name of the file thinking perhaps it had renamed the original version. Tried deleting it. Have installed Windows ME (the only OS I had available to me). Had to uninstall it using the startup disk and DOS commands because all I got was the dreaded blue screen. Reinstall Windows 98 SE and now I'm back where I started from. OLEAUT32.DLL will not start and I can't run anything even though I get my slightly altered desktop back.
I'd really appreciate some help here.

Pros: Its free, easy to use and is very useful in planning transactions and managing your budget.

Pros: won't try it
Cons: There are thousands of programs in the freeware database but only a handfull are free. "Free Trail" is not the same as "FREE". I don't insist on free stuff but I don't want to be mislead. If it's not free, say so. Why waste my time?

"simple, easy to use and effective."
Pros: very usefull for my personal accounting, very customizable, good reports included, allows programmed and periodic due dates, reports budgeted versus real transactions to track budget performance.
Cons: found a little bug on version 5.0.4 that I already reported to developers, when it combines debit programmed transactions with budget expenses takes programmed transactions with positive values and budgeted expenses uses negative values.
Summary: This product is exactly what I was looking for: a tool to track in an easy way where my money is going, grouping my majior expenses and start to plan my future expenses on a budget. It's a simple and easy tu use application but does not lack of fun... read more
