From AtomSpam.com:AtomSpam works quietly in the background while your receiving your mail, as your mail comes in each message is scanned using a set of internal rules and filters. Finally if a message passes through the internal rules and filters then a final check is done by a quick query to the AtomSpam server to see if the AtomSpam community has marked this message as spam, and if so it is move to your spam folder.

Version: AtomSpam 1.1.1
Pros: Appeared to have a huge number of pre-existing filters for spam and porn sites.
Cons: Maybe it was configuration but the first time I tried to scan Outlook hung. I used Process Explorer to kill Outlook and did a double-take. The Process Explorer was showing numerous instances of Outlook and probably an equal number of AtomSpam initializing and shutting down. And it just continued that way.

"GOOD Anti-SPAMMER - Worth paying for."
Pros: Any anti SPAM product is a good thing, BUT AtomSpam must rate as one of the best I've come across. Thanks Guys.
Cons: Only one BUG. Outlook (Office XP) crashes on exiting and Windows XP generates an "ERROR REPORT".

Summary: Easy to use and does catch alot of spam. I get about 130 emails a day and this software catches most of'em. Does as well as try/buy software...hey it free nothing wrong there...
