From BitTorrent:BitTorrent is a protocol for distributing files. It identifies content by URL and is designed to integrate seamlessly with the Web. It has a clear advantage over HTTP in that it distributes bandwidth among established users (much like the swarming download technology used by many file-sharing applications), making it possible for your file server to support large numbers of downloads with only a modest increase in load.
Version 4.0.2 features numerous bug fixes.

Version: BitTorrent 4.0.2
Pros: It's fast
Cons: - bad interface
- does not give much info on the torrent that it's downloading
- RAM hog
- Have to open another bittorrent window for every torrent you download
- Has "donate" buttons and signs everywhere
I suggest getting BitTornado or Azureus. BitTornado is the same as BitTorrent but gives you more info about the download and more customizable.

Version: BitTorrent 4.0.2
"NOT compatible with OS X 10.2.8 or less"
Pros: i don't know if there are any since it doesn't run
Cons: there's no Compatibility info at all but does not work with anything less than 10.3. I expected better than this. It tries to open and instantly quits... no warning no expanation. Very Frustrating. Now i have to go dig for an old version or a client that works.
