  Pros: From C-Media Electronics North America: The CMI8738 driver package contains a driver for PCIsupport

  Cons: From C-Media Electronics North America: The CMI8738 driver package contains a driver for PCI cards that are based on the CMI8378 chipset. This driver is for Windows XP only, and requires a computer with a CMI8738-based audio card. C-Media does not provide end user support for drivers, so please contact your hardware manufacturer if you need further support

  Pros: it downloaded ok

  Cons: its hard to install for me it says its missing a file

  back up your old drvier file before downloading this incase it doesnt work cuz i didnt

  "Worked good."

  Pros: It worked fine with my (old) c-media c3dx (cmi8738-sx processor) pci audio card.

  Cons: (Maybe I should buy a newer and more powerful pc audio card but... It does its job good enough for my purposes)

  "not good cannot uninstall"

  Pros: does not work with my computer

  Cons: Cannot uninstall keeps resetting itself and shuts computer off before uninstall is complete
