"Quick, easy, free"

Although it lacks a few of the bells and whistles found in other PC-cleaning applications, this free program offers more than enough features to make it a worthy download. CCleaner's interface is logically designed and makes it easy to wipe away your tracks from Internet Explorer and Mozilla, various Windows system areas, and some third-party applications.

CCleaner doesn't support a large number of extraneous programs as some competitors do, but it can erase traces from such popular programs as Spybot - Search & Destroy and WinZip. Also missing is a secure file shredder, but it makes up for the omission by supplying a Registry-cleaning utility, which quickly scans for invalid entries before removing them. CCleaner can even back up your Registry before removal, in case it accidentally removes a crucial component, and the download includes a feature for uninstalling any program on your machine.

Since this free application handles the majority of PC-cleaning chores and offers a nice extra, we have no problem recommending CCleaner to all users, except those who need to get rid of supersensitive data.

"CAN"T GO WRONG WITH THIS ONE"

Pros: For a free program, it is fantastic. It scans and removes safely most of your useless junk, and speeds up your pc. No adware or spyware,no ads, and no nag screen asking you to purchase-because it is 100 percent free! I give CCleaner 5 Stars and TWO thumbs UP!

"One of the best PC cleaning utilities!"

Pros: Fast scanning and deleting, clean interface, registry cleaner, low system requirements, and for free.

Cons: No file shredder, it sometimes unexpectedly quits when clicking an item in the Uninstaller; or an item in the registry cleaner. It also hangs but very seldomly.

"SO NAO LIMPA A CORRUPCAO DO BRASIL!"

Pros: Essa e pro pessoal do Brasil. Esse programinha e muito bom! Limpa tudo mesmo e nao prejudica o desempenho de nenhum programa. Como alguem mencionou, a versao que esta aqui no Download.com esta desatualizada, por isso va no site do proprio CCLEANER(click no link acima) e baixa a mais nova versao. 1000000!!!!!!!! Nao coloque nem tils nem acentos porque, ce sabe, ficaria tudo inelegivel! Saudacoes de Brasilia pra todo mundo do Download.com. Um abraco!!

Cons: nenhuma.

"This product is brilliant!"

Pros: This product makes my computer ultra-fast and it never messes it up. My friend's computer couldn't even shut down and now it shuts down. My computer kept crashing all the time. Also, it cleaned 1 GIG of data off of my computer without crashing. It cleans the stuff left off of the registry. I can't believe that people that make software and Windows couldn't even fix this problem because, the computer does go slower more that you uninstall programs. I remember that my other friend didn't like install me installing programs on there computer. Now, if you run this, you don't have to worry about installing hundreds of programs on someones computers without it messing up. Don't have to defrag the computer as much either.

Thank you CCleaner. Every computer should have this.

Cons: The only thing that I don't like about it is that you have to run it in each user account but thats not that bad as long as you have the other people's password or you have to delete there password and change it.

"Great at cleaning your computer"

Pros: CCleaner has a simple and effective interface. It is quick at scanning and deleting files.

Cons: 1. When analyzing, it detects more files to delete than it actually does delete.
2. The buttons are not compatible with some windowblinds themes.
