From CCleaner:CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) is a system-optimization tool. It removes unused and temporary files from your system, allowing it to run faster and more efficiently, and giving you more hard-disk space. The application cleans traces left by Windows, Internet Explorer, and third-party applications. Version 1.28.227 updates Hotfix Uninstaller cleaning, adds secure certificate to the installer, and improves secure deletion performance. Version 1.29.295 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

- "Quick, easy, free"
Although it lacks a few of the bells and whistles found in other PC-cleaning applications, this free program offers more than enough features to make it a worthy download. CCleaner's interface is logically designed and makes it easy to wipe away your tracks from Internet Explorer and Mozilla, various Windows system areas, and some third-party applications.
CCleaner doesn't support a large number of extraneous programs as some competitors do, but it can erase traces from such popular programs as Spybot - Search & Destroy and WinZip. Also missing is a secure file shredder, but it makes up for the omission by supplying a Registry-cleaning utility, which quickly scans for invalid entries before removing them. CCleaner can even back up your Registry before removal, in case it accidentally removes a crucial component, and the download includes a feature for uninstalling any program on your machine.
Since this free application handles the majority of PC-cleaning chores and offers a nice extra, we have no problem recommending CCleaner to all users, except those who need to get rid of supersensitive data.

"Anyone who doesn't have CCleaner on their pc is missing out!"
Pros: CCleaner is without a doubt, the best free registry cleaner on the net. You click "Run Cleaner", and it removes all your temporary files and worthless junk in less than a minute. When you click on "Issues" it removes all remnants of uninstalled programs. It also features a good startup manager and program uninstaller...all for free! Why CCleaner is not in the top 10 downloaded products on C-net is beyond me. CCleaner is an awesome free product and everyone should download it, 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Pros: This program gives good tweaks and cleans. It'll clean up space and maybe make your computer run a bit faster and cleaner. Best of all, it's free.
Cons: From my use, this programs seems to work better on older computers. Newer computers probably won't get "optimized" too much from it.

Pros: Cleans every piece of "Crap" (I don't know why it bleeps out the "C" word. It's in the program's name...) off of your system quickley and easily. It freed about 1 GB off of my friends PC. But about 345 MB off of mine. Fast clening too!
Cons: None whatsoever.

"Does the tasks many others do not"
Pros: This is a very simple program. It begins with a list of areas you might wish to clean and then allows you to select which ones you want. Then is shows you possible files it can delete. One button press deletes them. This takes about a minute, literally.
I clears out temps for all sorts of programs, it clears cookies, logs, download histories, it clears invalid file extensions, dead shortcuts, dead icons, bad start menu links and much more. It allows you to back up your registry.
It also lets you decide on some cookies never to delete. So you dont just wipe your wanted cookies clean.
Cons: You need a little bit of knowledge of computers to understand what it is exactly that you are deleting.

Pros: it cleans up all unused tempery files frees up space on your harddrive and it deletes invalid registry items.try it and you will be happy.after all its free
