From Xnet Communications:Captain FTP is a user-friendly, powerful FTP client for Mac OS X. It shares tasks between separate threads, enabling users to set up unlimited simultaneous connections. The time-consuming functions (uploading and downloading) don't block the system. Instead, they leave it available for user request.
New features in Captain FTP include accelerated download speeds, resumable transfers, full support for Mac Binary, support for Unicode names in remote and local sites, a browser for local files, and a built-in trash can. In addition, Captain FTP supports Apple's Rendezvous technology and can find any Rendezvous-capable FTP server on your local network.
