Publisher's description of Digsby build 32 - r17926
From dotSyntax:Digsby helps you manage all your IM, email, and social network accounts from one easy-to-use application. Digsby lets you chat with all your friends on AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Google Talk, Facebook Chat, and Jabber with one simple to manage buddy list. It provides notifications when new emails arrive and lets you perform actions such as "Mark as Read" or "Report Spam" without having to go to your inbox while also keeping you up-to-date on what's happening on your social networks with popup notifications and a newsfeed of recent events for Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.
Version beta 31 r15142 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

- "Where IM, e-mail, and social networks meet"
Digsby should easily be the instant messaging freeware of choice for the super social set. In addition to supporting the major IM networks--Yahoo, MSN, AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, and Jabber--Digsby also pulls in Web mail feeds, as well as access to MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook accounts. Updating Twitter is a breeze from the application's main interface, though users wishing to do anything more than read Facebook and MySpace news feeds will be redirected to their online accounts.
Users can initiate text, video, and audio chat from the conversation window, and transfer files, send SMS, and compose e-mail. Digsby supports not only Web mail, but POP and IMAP accounts, too. The notification pop-ups for every activity can get distracting, though a deep preference options control nearly every aspect of the display, including a wide variety of skins and those pesky pop-ups. Digsby is off to a strong start, and the most recent version does an amazing job of fixing stability and resource-hogging problems.
Although many people had written off the app as too cumbersome in the past, the current build is well-worth downloading and exploring.

Version: Digsby build 32 - r17926
"SLOW & ERRONEOUS - lacks some 'mandatory' features"
Pros: 1. Good for chat software consolidation
2. Facebook updates delivered to your deskCons: 1. An annoying 1-3 seconds lag from 'Enter' to message delivery.
2. Using as MSN replacement, I find that often my messages are not delivered, there is ERRORS IN CREATING CHAT SESSIONS etc.
3. NO option to add multiple people to a chat.Summary: I WON'T RECOMMEND IT for business purposes due to its basic chat session creation errors and ability to add more people to a session.
The software is a start but there is a way to go yet before I can make the full switch - so far, I have ... read more >> -

Version: Digsby build 32 - r17926
"Feature rich yet bloated and slow"
Pros: Combines all your favorite IM clients, email and social networking sites into one nice looking package.
Cons: Takes f o r e v e r to boot up AIM. Connections with social networks go up and down with reckless abandon. Also, this sucker takes up about 45MB of memory.
Summary: is it still in beta? it feels like the bloat and the laggy connections could be ironed out. I want to like it, really, I do, but it's just not quite ready for day-to-day use. I'm sticking with Trillian for now.

"Best Consolidated Chat/Social Networking Program Yet!"
Pros: Very easy to install. Not a large memory eater. Easily configure initially. Adding social networkds like facebook, myspace, etc. takes a bit of time as does adding pop/imap email boxes, but Digsby does them all and in one program.
Cons: Needs a few tweaks in the skins department and other member's fonts and emoticons do not show up,
Summary: A great program that shines head over heels over trillian and pidgen!!! A must for those who like an organized desktop with all chat and social networks in one place with an added bonus of monitoring all those email inboxes from hell!! A great pro... read more >>

Pros: Everything Together Works For Me
Cons: They Haven't Added Comcast As An Email As Of Yet, But Minor To Me.
Summary: This Program Is excellent in every way over-all. As Far As How It Looks as mentioned in other reviews. I am not chatting with the boxes, I am chatting through them.
I don't notice any slowdowns on my computer but maybe I'm lucky.
I'd say... read more >> -

"Nice Software but needs more finishing"
Pros: Access Google Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL Messenger and more with just one software.
Cons: A bit confusing in its make, slows down the PC as compared to other IM clients.
