Publisher's description of G3 Firmware Update

From Apple:

This G3 Firmware Update should be installed on all blue and white Power Macintosh G3 systems. Features delivered with this update include improved performance of PCI devices including built-in FireWire ports, improved support of NetBooting, and other minor improvements.

Note: Do not install this on Macintosh Server G3 running Mac OS X Server. Also, the G3 Firmware Update 1.1 installs the same firmware as G3 Firmware Update 1.0.2. If you downloaded G3 Firmware Update 1.0.2 and updated your firmware successfully, then it is not necessary to download G3 Firmware Update 1.1.

Version: G3 Firmware Update 1.1

"ruined my computer"

Summary: when i installed this new firmware it took away "get info" and "restart" abilities at the top of my screen. Thats only a few things!
