Publisher's description of Galapagos demo
With an advanced form of artificial life technology, Galapagos is the first game to present a character who literally has an independent mind. The artificial Mendel has the ability to learn, adapt, and interact with the environment and the user. You must help Mendel navigate through challenging obstacles and escape from beautiful but hazardous 3D, texture-mapped worlds, which are viewed through the eyes of a camera. As Mendel moves through the world, the camera follows with sweeping, cinematic movement. You activate objects near Mendel by clicking on them, affecting the environment in different ways. By doing so, you can coax this creature to solve the many puzzles that lie in its path. Of course, Mendel is an independent thinker and may have other ideas. Galapagos is a single-player game with a third-person perspective.

"Sounds cool, but I cant download it!!!"
Summary: The reliability of the ftp download link for this game is beyond poor. I tried every link available, nothing works. If I ever manage to get this game from the site to my comp I'll tell you what i think of it.

Version: Galapagos demo 1.1
Summary: A neat game for puzzle lovers. I find it extremely frustrating but I keep coming back for more. I just wish it had a help file to better explain how the little Bug(ger)thinks!

Summary: I would love to buy the full game!

Version: Galapagos demo 1.1
"It´s like "Marble Madness" on acid!"
Summary: The controls are numb, slow and hard to coordinate. The scenarios are dull and extremely hard (and boring). The graphics are no picnic either. Avoid if possible!!!
-
Version: Galapagos demo 1.1
Summary: Even a few years after it's release, Galapagos is still one of the greatest puzzle games I've ever played.
