While advertising supported, HotSpot Shield is is not an invasive adware or pervasive spyware application.

Pros: Free for download and use.
Cons: The Ads..but that keeps it free....
Summary: The use of this program is great if you know how to block ads, especially if you're using FireFox.
Firefox has an add-on called Ad Block Plus, using that, you'll be ad free, but the top banner will be a blank space. -
