- "Turn any file into a PDF"
PrimoPDF 3 converts just about any file type to a PDF, using the source program the file was created with and its print command. The interface could be nicer; it's uncluttered but also uninteresting. Previous versions required the user to go through the Save As menu. The reason why the publisher changed it to Print isn't obvious. Regardless, the conversion process is quick and efficient. Other changes include a security feature, which allows the user to wrap the PDF in 40-bit or 128-bit encryption, and password protection. The user also can restrict editing of the new PDF, leaving comments and making other changes.
The program's size is surprisingly large for such an unobtrusive app, and it's absolutely necessary to launch the read-me file at the end of installation, since the application loads no icons and leaves no other visible traces on your machine, except in the Start menu's All Programs.

Version: PrimoPDF 1.0
Cons: It only converted one single thing off of my Word document--a rectangular drawing object--and nothing else. Useless!
-
Version: PrimoPDF 1.0
Pros: Makes creating pdf's from publisher documents a snap. great tool!
Cons: PDF's are a bit larger in size than if you use Adobe, but considering the difference in cost, I can live with that.

"Works Perfectly, Completely Free, Great Product!"
Pros: After sifting through all of these try before you buy things when searching for a pdf maker, I ran into this one, which is a gem. No gimmicks. Makes pdf's, totally free, done. Excellent. If you don't need the fancy shmancy embedded fonts, watermarks, and all kinds of other things I NEVER use, this is golden.

Pros: I'd been using a pdf converter that I'd paid for, and when I started using Primo PDF, I was amazed. The pictures are beautiful. I love it.
