Publisher's description of Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (full install)
From Activision Value:Wolfenstein Enemy Territory is a stand-alone multiplayer game in which players wage war as Axis or Allies in team-based combat. In Wolfenstein Enemy Territory Axis and Allied teams do battle in traditional single scenarios, or wage war through a series of linked scenarios in a totally new campaign mode. During combat players gain experience and skill, and through battlefield promotions are awarded additional abilities that remain persistent across an entire campaign.
Additionally, new character classes like the Covert OpS as well as an enhanced Engineer allow teams to perform reconnaissance, steal enemy uniforms, and construct battlefield structures and military installations in the midst of combat to gain tactical advantages for their team. All new game modes, maps and communication abilities require players and teams to develop advanced strategies and tactics in the struggle for front line domination.

Version: Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (full install)
"The best freeware multiplayer game made."
Pros: There are only so many games which are full-fledged games that were released free...and I can think of two right now. America's Army and Enemy Territory.
Gives you the feel of Battlefield 1942 (not free) in a FREE game.
Quake 3 engine...based off Return to Castle Wolfenstein game.
Good sound.
Game still holds up today.
Multiplayer community is HUGE. Can play a great game any time of the day.
Cons: Big download since its a full-fledged game that would normally come in CD form.

Version: Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (full install)
Pros: Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is absolutely great. Besides being free (always a plus), it actually has a lot of good thought and design about it. Squaring off against people around the world is always fun; for those who like to play with friends online, but don't much enjoy leveling up or raiding dungeons, then ET will definitely satisfy.
Cons: The only little problem doesn't concern the game itself, but the people playing. If you get stuck with a bunch of jerks who just want to tick people off, the gameplay deteriorates quickly; however, this can be remedied by joining a clan.

Version: Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (full install)
Pros: Wolfenstein: ET is a generally good team-based first person shooter. It has multiple game modes and it is easy to connect to a server, the graphics are great and although the controls are difficult at first, they can be easily changed.
The community and players are GENERALLY good and friendly, though some idiots try and spoil the game with foul language and team-shooting.
Overall I recommend this download!
Cons: Most servers suffer from EXTREME lag, some players are idiots, there is no block for abusive language and it really can get very, very, repetitive without any mods
