From DotNetIdeas:SmartOrganizer is a collection of tools for Pocket PC/SmartPhone to help you easily organizes your tasks, schedule, shopping list, inventory, packing list, recipes and planning your meals. It also has a timer and simple text editor. Key features include: Comprehensive task list allow user to view your tasks/appointments in one view and group them by due date. User can setup patterns for re-occurring tasks/events. The application can automatically calculate the next due date. User can load task list to Daily Scheduler for easy scheduling. User can also create a master packing list and generate packing lists from it. Food Inventory and Inventory Manager has a visual view of your inventory (food, household). Generate shopping list from Inventory Manager. Within the Meal Planner, the user will be able to view their recipes, check inventory and update the Inventory Manager for creating shopping list for your meal later. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

"Doesn't Work on my Windows Mobile 6 phone"
Pros: The concept of the software looks great, I would love to have something like this on my phone
Cons: I got the error code 2869 when I tried installing it on my vista desktop, but when I installed it on my Windows XP laptop, it worked. However, once installed on my phone, the application opens, but nothing can be selected
Summary: Warning! This doesn't work on Vista apparently, I am assuming that was the first reviewers problem. Once I got it installed properly, (using Windows XP) it doesn't run on a Windows Mobile 6 phone (as stated in the description). I hope this gets fi... read more >>

Pros: The documentation looks good. Wish I could install the app
Cons: The install fails everytime with the error 2869.
Summary: The app looks great (in the documentation) but unfortunately will not install. There is no help at all anywhere for this program. The DotNetIdeas developer listed doesn't appear to exist or have a website that works.
