From Mousechief:The Witch's Yarn is a brassy adventure about a witch who foreswore magic for the love a mortal now passed away. Urged by her family to resume her natural talents, she instead opens a small shop, spinning and selling yarn, intent on a quiet life. However, life will be anything but quiet when Wednesday discovers her true purpose in the mortal world. How much trouble can you cause with a spinning wheel and a pot of mushrooms?

Version: The Witch's Yarn demo
"A boring game with good graphics."
Pros: If you like interactive stories and like to read A LOT...then you will love this game.
A lot of choices to change the story and props.
You can bookmark your story anytime time you want.
I gave it 3 stars because it was one of a kind game. I give them credit for that. Next time I wish they would make it more interesing.
Cons: The story is increadably BORING! I swear it's like the author set a tape recorder in an old folks home then copied it all into the game.
The demo is good for 70 min. 70 MIN! I can't see normal people staying awake for more than 5 min. I was fading at 9 minutes...but I had to give it a chance.

Version: The Witch's Yarn demo
"This Witch Needs Magic...or a Miracle."
Pros: The graphics are well done. The gameplay is original. The interface is experimental. The concept is fresh.
Cons: I don't even know where to start. The game seriously lacks usability. I struggled to learn how to play it. When I began to understand, the pacing was incredibly slow, even for children. The game involves so much reading and waiting, it will become boring and repetitive. Also, the game is story-driven, and the story unfolds so slowly (only a few lines at a time, with animated dialogue boxes) that it becomes uninteresting.
