Publisher's description of ViSec
Visec is a software program that turns your computer into a video surveillance system. With Visec, users can use any camera and a PC. Visec supports almost all cameras, including inexpensive usb web cameras, as well as traditional analog cameras and more advanced, ip cameras, mega pixel ip cameras and ptz ip cameras.Visec can monitor a room and record video on a user's computer when motion is detected. Visec uses powerful algorithmic software based motion detection, eliminating the need to buy any hardware. When motion is detected, (such as a burglar s movement) Visec's alert system will e-mail you a picture of the motion that was detected, to a cell phone, PDA, or computer.
Visec's video history feature allows you to playback surveillance during specified times such as when you're away from home or out of the office. Visec features Remote Live Access allowing you to see a live view of your home or office. Version 4.0.0.5 includes unspecified updates.

Version: ViSec 4.0.0.5
"Fast Setup,Easy to Use, and even works from my Blackberry"
Pros: I use VISEC for my business and love it!
The file size is under 2 megabytes, such a small app for what it does and very clean coding.
I am running 2 web cameras (1 logitech, and 1 Creative USB) as well as an IP Axis 207 ip camera and a generic no name ip camera. VISEC found all the cameras within a few seconds. The no name IP camera I enter a jpeg link and it works fine. (I could barely get that no name to work itself, so impressed a lot that VISEC handled it great)
One thing I like is I did not need to read any instructions.
All you do is push 1 button to open the camera and then you can instantly playback by a double click.
VISEC is a very nice software design in that its predictable to the user on what to do.
Another cool thing I have never seen is VISEC recognized my second monitor and with a simple drag of the mouse I was now running a cool command center with cameras distributed on both monitors.
Even my new Blackberry works great with VISEC. I amaze all my clients when I show then I can watch the office on a Blackberry at the golf course.
I highly recommend this software for your small business.

"Great software, great price, and very efficient on CPU."
Pros: After trying so many software programs, this is the easiest to use, and appears best priced.
Note: I was able to setup my Axis 211, my IQEYE and my 5 megapixel Arecont camera in a few minutes. My other software program cost 10x as much as took me about 2 days to do what I did in a few minutes. Visec also recognized my old web cam which I never expected to works.
Great software, great price, and very efficient on CPU.
