The skies above World War II Europe come alive with Jane's WWII Fighters. Fly the seven best fighters of the war in this graphically intense flight simulation with an emphasis on special effects, terrain, and aircraft detail. The game contains training missions and variable difficulty levels for the novice, as well as a branching campaign, realistic flight dynamics, and sophisticated AI for the hardcore gamer. The game also includes a collection of actual World War II footage and interviews with several real aces. The game supports both current and next-generation 3D graphics cards, and full multiplayer gaming for up to eight players via a LAN or (at some point) via the Internet at JanesCombat.net.

Version: WWII Fighters demo
"The best WWII combat flight sim ever!"
Pros: There are multiple choices of planes available (both Allied and Axis) preset missions, campaigns, and the awesome mission editor. Good controls, both with a joystick and the keyboard.

Pros: want to destroy germans. then this is the game ... graphics are ok .. you can find yourself playing for a while,
Cons: the only problem is .. the controls dont seem to respond when you want them to .. the plane seems to fly its self at some points.. I HAD THE FULL VERSION AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS . BUT THE DEMO SEEMS TO BE WHERE THE PROBLEMS ARE AT

"very realistic, almost like flying a real plane"
Pros: graphics and options are great.
Cons: not much info on how to play, cannot find any info on how to play on line which to me would be very helpful. I know there is a book with a lot of info on the game, I would even be willing to pay for it if I could find it.
