Version: X-Plane 8.06
"very realistic flight sim for teaching flight - not a game"
Pros: Extremely well written and comes with tools to create your own planes and worlds. Teaches areodynamics and reactions between areodynamics and variables in real world flight. O.K. graphics and good support from a lot of different sources including Laminar Research. Doesn't install like a normal Windows program so uninstall and updates are extremely easy.
Cons: The roads have a tendancy to leave the ground and appear to float in mid-air at times.

Version: X-Plane 8.06
"Itz alright, I suppose...but its not a GAME"
Pros: It is a very detailed programme for those who understand EVERY knob and button on an airoplane, because you have to use every knob and button for a successful flight...
Cons: However, it is not very user freindly - if you don't know much about planes u will find it hard to do anything at all. And the 5 minutes of joystick are very limiting as well - after 5 minutes you can hardly control it at all (u r not allowed to use the mouse either)
