Hailing originally from the U.K. (and now from Canada), Automatik Response's Jeff Carter creates an intelligent and challenging listen. His music runs from soft but dark bass melodies to progressive New Age electronic, all of it wrapped around an industrial center (fans of early NIN take note).
Biography
For songwriter / composer Jeff Carter, the music of his musical project, Automatik Response, is a two sided coin. On one hand, an opportunity to show his minds picture of urban living as the darker, lonelier place that it has become. On the other, it shows the positive influence of science and communication, that change often happens out of a need and neccessity to transform ourselves. THe first full length album from Automatik Response will be entitled Mutation. Blending stylistic ideas from various new electronic genres, with odd meter rhythms, raw and processed ethnic instrumentation, and a vibe all its own, Automatik Response is an original new voice for electronic music.
The music is written and composed by British born Canadian Artist Jeff Carter.His work has included several previous projects, collaborations, and bands, including Puncture Vine, Unbound, and SKS.
