The more rough-hewn side project of Asian Man Records mainstay Rob Kellenberger (of Duvall and Tuesday), Colossal won't satisfy those looking for the tight-knit material of his other groups. But for the patient, the group's jazz horns, fractured rhythms, and mumbly lyrics are a rewarding diversion.
Biography
COLOSSAL hails from Elgin, IL, and features Rob Kellenberger from Tuesday & Duvall on drums, Pat Ford from Flowers on guitar and vocals. The band makes indie rock with a pop flair, adding jazz and math rock influences.
