An impeccable vocalist from Bakersfield, Calif., CRE combines pop and R&B with meaningful soul. She draws attention with climactic bursts, sung with integrity and emotion. With influences ranging from Brandy to Mary J. Blige, CRE is determined to set trends rather than follow them.
Biography
Cre writes soulfull lyrics and creates her unique sound by always being open to her feelings and being ready to express them. The music is a cross between pop and R&B and she says her style could be compared to brandy. Cre is a songwriter and wrote all of her own lyrics and co-produced all the songs on her demo. She is currently learning to engineer her own music in her home studio using Cubase.
Cre ( LaCresha Lebron), has been singing since the age of 2 with her sisters in a group called "The Kindred Sisters". The group sang gospel songs sung acappella and as a member of her church choir she was a regularly featured and asked to sing at other local churches. For the past 2 years she has sung at the Kern County Health Fair and her photo was featured in the Bakersfield Californian newspaper when she sang at the Martin Luther King Day celebration and gave her audience of 300 the chills. Cre performed in front of 800 spectators at the Bakersfield College Father?s Day Fair with Louie Cruz Beltran and the West Coast Players, a live 10 piece band.
Cre has been a member of Bakersfield's hottest hip-hop dance studio, "LQ's Performing Arts Center", Formerly known as "studio 106". With her dance studio, her performances in the last year include the Magic Mountain dance showcase with an audience of 500, the Las Vegas Hip Hop dance explosion, the Kern County Fair dance showcase with 1900 in attendance, several health fairs and college events, and dancing on stage with Raz B of B2K and movie "You got Served" June 23, 2006. Studio 106 hosted it's own dance showcase in which Cre performed in 18 dance routines to an audience of 1000. The studio performed in a concert for award winning artist "Mary Mary", in which Cre proved her versital dance skills from Hip-hop to gospel.
