Editor's review

Berlin's RQM made a monster of a "booty-tingling" track with Miss Pacman--a track for the dirty underground club that's a winner with its choppy samples and aggressive variety of electro-tastic snyths. A sure-fire hipster dance hit.

Biography

What's a vintage Atari game got to do with a threesome? Or Boogie Nights with the recycling culture of club music? And why is it that Red Wine lipstick tastes like watermelon? The answer : when RQM laces a tune - even the least likely combination of words make a whole lot of sense.

Miss Pacman is a monster of a club track that comes in 5 different booty tingling versions backing a pheromone-molotov-cocktail of story line that'll put a smile on your face, even if you're not the hardcore clubbing type.

The original produced by Boris Meinhol(Micatone/Sonarkollektiv/Berlin) is a radio friendly banger with a mild twist of pop. RQM delivers his lines with such ease that it sounds like he's right by your ear coaxing you into doing no good, while his accomplice Eva Be (Sonarkollektiv/Best Seven) drives it home with a sexy breath of a chorus: "You can't leave without doing this!!"

Oliver$ (Made to play/Berlin) takes it to a prime time dance floor with his tight, sweaty click-house edit stuttering and cutting RQMs lines to give the song a drug anthem twist. Mission accomplished!!

The Dj Chernobyl (producer of Bonde de Role/Brazil) remix goes straight for the hip and the bubble bounce by adding that baile funk sense of humor the formula.

Act Yo Age (hot newcomers from Sidney who just signed to Sweat It Out/label from Ajax of the Bang Gang Deejays) serve you with a nice oldschool hip-house groove and a wobbling bassline.

Released on Shir Khan’s label EXPLOITED that already brought you Siriusmo (Allthegirls), Adam Sky vs Mark Stewart (We are all prostitutes), Shir Khan (Maximize!), Surkin (Killalady).
Crackin design by Marek Polewski from Floor 5 – recycling famous old recordcovers.
