The French group's big and roiling sound draws less on postrock than its more earnest ancestor, "prog." The guitars here are both for texture and for show (they're forever pirouetting skyward), while vocals, in true Geddy Lee tradition, poke at the top of the high tenor range.
Biography
Bertrand Gouelle (vocals, guitars, keyboards) and Etienne Legrand (guitars, bass guitars, drums & percussions) are the two members of The Waltz of Spirits. You can listen our music on www.thewaltzofspirits.com, the first demo "A Transcendental Trip to Kalapucho (part 1)" is online. It's a concept album in three parts. More to come. Good listening.
